Remember Julia Roberts as Shelby in Steel Magnolias? (Sigh.) When she's in the beauty parlor, and she's talking about her wedding plans, and Sally Fields, who is her grouchy-for-no-reason mom in the movie, is complaining that the whole church will look like it's been hosed down in Pepto Bismol, and Julia says, "Mama, I lahk pink. Pink is mah sig-na-cha col-uh." And then she gets all sweaty and weird and diabetic and Dolly Parton has to get her a glass of juice?
Well, pink happens to be my signature color, too. And no one who has known me for more than seven minutes can seem to understand why.
I don't wear the pastel version of my signature color because it makes me look like Barbie's chunky jealous Italian cousin. So I'm putting it on my Web site.
DEAL WITH IT, people. (please?)
*** I am not implying that diabetics are weird. They are lovely. That's just how it went down in the movie.
